Junker Action manages the distribution of waste kits
Junker Action is the digital service that allows municipal administrations and urban waste management providers to plan, track, and report on local activities in a structured manner. It was created primarily to support municipalities and small providers that must manage complex processes—from kit delivery to register management—without multiplying Excel spreadsheets, paper forms, and manual steps.
The primary need it addresses is a single control room: all activities requiring registration (residential and non-residential users, citizens, businesses, and local assets) are managed through digital campaigns, which can be scheduled over time, assigned to different operators, and monitored in real time. The system also enhances the direct involvement of citizens, who can self-register, sign up for services or registers, or perform self-monitoring via an app or web.

Use cases:
- Users’ census
- Management of the Composting Register
- Delivery of bins, bags, and composters
- Registration of inspection reports
- Registration for additional services
- Self-monitoring of well water
- Distribution of larvicide kits
The process

Many advantages:
- Smarter and more efficient planning;
- Create ad hoc campaigns for specific targets;
- Assign tasks to different entities with separate reporting;
- Highly configurable modules;
- Prompt progress monitoring;
- Autonomous data import/export, with a transparent and unalterable history;
- Extract reports for municipalities and managers;
- Mass export of forms and receipts in PDF format.
Added to this are greater citizen engagement, in line with law regulations, and tangible savings in time, resources, and contact center load.

The Villaputzu case history:
In the Municipality of Villaputzu (Sardinia), where waste collection is managed by the Effe Ambiente RTI and Giovanni Pili company, Junker Action has been adopted for activities such as the distribution of collection kits, allowing for a traceable association of kits and users and better management of door-to-door collection.
“Junker Action is intuitive and very simple to use: it was very easy to understand how it works,” says Nicola Collu of Pili Giovanni, which manages services in the Municipality of Villaputzu.
A concrete example of how digitalization, if well-designed, can simplify the work of operators and improve service to citizens.
